So the new site has been designed, and is now in the hands of development. Things are moving quickly, so keep with us. I know that it's been a long time coming, but we're going to be bringing you some of the best features imaginable. Updates will be coming soon to those who are interested.

Rant:
So, I just got finished watching the newly released iPhone 4s video from Apple. I can say that I really do like some of the new features that they've developed, and I think that considering the predictability of the general populace, the phone will be a big hit.

One of the new interesting features that Apple has released is called Siri. This is basically a feature that allows you to speak into your phone and have it complete tasks that weren't possible in the earlier models e.g. read my text, reply to my text, change my 2:00 appointment, remind me to do X, etc. In the past I've made it known how much I despise voice-based anything. The programs rarely work the way we want them to and we end up shouting into our phones "NO YOU PIECE OF $#%7, I SAID________" With Siri, I'm reserving judgment until I'm able to try it. Bringing me to my next point. When oh when will Apple allow other networks to cary the iPhone?

Problems that I have with this release:

1) Releasing a half-step model before the iPhone 5, may be profitable, but it's a kick to the junk for those who have been waiting patiently for the 5.

2) The amount of features added to this phone in relation to the amount of time that it took to release is underwhelming.

3) Apple needs to get their respective heads out of their respective fart-lockers and release their products to the other networks. I'm sure there are some mitigating factors that will need to be ironed out beforehand, but the situation doesn't really come with a downside. From an economical standpoint, the amount of phones sold will increase, the quantity demanded will rise, the price can go up and every year all the T-Mobile/Sprint/ATT/other unnamed service providers' customers will flood the doors of their closest Apple store to buy the latest and greatest. Now, with this said, I understand that there are factors, information and reasoning that I'm not privy to, but It sure is nice to blame someone.

What are your thoughts? I want to know how you feel. ATT customers, are you stoked for the new phone? Verizon folks, did all the wind get taken out of your sails, knowing that you have to wait six months to get a letter "S"? T-mobile and sprint people, what are your feelings on the matter? Lastly, all of the Android lovers out there, how does this release hit you? Send me your thoughts.
